In the Fold

As reported previously, Travis Hafner has agreed to a 4 year deal that will keep him in Cleveland through 2012. Looks like the money breaks down to $57M, with some of that being added to his current contract.

Much more on this phenomenal news, but for now...Pronk!

deal breaks down to an anual 12 million when you see the $ added to this year and next. Shapiro seams to understand back loaded contracts kill you. that is if all the reports are true.....

Westbrook and Hafner? That's already too good to be true. I know the Indians can't spend millions on just a few players. I understand that and I am okay with that. It's what's best for the team. But to have Westbrook and Hafner...

If they sign CC I'll die and go to heaven.

Hafner and Westbrook is already plenty. And it seems they still have some playroll flexibility.
